$99 single/double, plus 9 percent room tax (Taxes subject to change without notice.) Each additional person in room: $25 plus tax per night. No charge for children 12 years or younger when sharing the same room with an adult and using the existing bedding.

Location/facilities facts ... The MGM Grand Hotel/Casino is centrally located on the world-famous "Las Vegas Strip" at Tropicana Avenue. The resort is within easy walking distance via walkway bridges across Tropicana Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard to New York-New York, Monte Carlo, Excalibur, Luxor and Tropicana resorts. The complimentary monorail connecting the MGM Grand to Bally’s hotel has carried more than 10 million passengers since the service began in June 1995. Downtown Las Vegas is seven miles away—approximately a 20-minute ride.

Check-in time is 3 p.m.; check-out time is 11 a.m. Please plan your arrival and departure accordingly. Late check-out is subject to availability and may entail additional charges. For your convenience, video check-out and express check-out are available from your room.

Parking is complimentary at the MGM Grand.

McCarran Airport is serviced by 63 air carriers and is located two miles from the MGM Grand Hotel and the Strip—less than a 10-minute ride. The cost to travel from the airport to the MGM Grand by individual taxi is approximately $7. Taxis are readily available at the hotel, the airport and within the city.

The reservation cut-off date is Friday, June 9, 2000. You must be registered for the conference to reserve a room under the Valuation 2000 group rate.

A block of rooms has been set aside for Valuation 2000 conference attendees at the conference hotel. Hotel reservations and cancellations are the responsibility of the registrant. Please fill out and return the reservation form on page 31 or call the hotel directly at (800) 929-1111 to make your room reservations. Mention Valuation 2000 to receive the special room rate.

When making your reservations, the MGM Grand requests that you enclose a check, money order or major credit card number to guarantee the first night’s stay. All reservation requests must be accompanied by a first night room deposit plus tax. Credit card users will be charged one night’s room and tax at the time of the reservation. Refunds will be issued on individual reservations canceled 48 hours in advance of arrival date. Written authorization is required to confirm transfer or room deposits on guest name changes. All guaranteed reservations will be held until 6 a.m. only on the day after confirmed arrival date. Room reservations not guaranteed within 14 days of the booking date will be automatically canceled.

Early response is suggested for guests desiring the group rate. Reservation requests received after the cutoff date will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis. If the group rate is not available after the cutoff date, the prevailing published rates will apply for any reservations confirmed.

The group rate is available from Wednesday, July 5, 2000, through Tuesday, July 18, 2000 (subject to room block availability). Your reservation must be received prior to Friday, June 9, 2000.
